Who's ready for another exciting round of library observations? Who can tell another essay deadline is approaching? Huzzah!
Deep philosophical observation for the day:

The Bodleian has an unusually high proportion of people with weird hair.
Seriously.

Point Granted. Fairy tale heroines do fit nicely into the overall schema of Bodleian surreality. Now that I think about the potential utility of long hair...if the library were to ever go up in flames, I will at least know my escape route.

That is amazing. I can't wait to get back to school and the constant surrealism. How does one have a bun larger than one's head, anyway?

Believe me, you're asking the exact same question that I did and I was looking right at the proof at the time. Imagine if you will, a large brown halo type "thing" that just extends outwards from the middle of her head. This woman's face is framed by bun. *shudder* It is not a hairstyle I would recommend.
