heh. really, the SCAdians are also invading LARP. it was entertaining to see some folks at 7v who have not done any sort of boffer game before but have been in the SCAfor ever

The two (LARP and SCA have been slowly cross-pollinating for years.
John La,(Sir Sagramore-NERO) also fought heavy in the SCA years ago, Nicki F (character unknown) who used to be on Cumberland I understand, was knighted in the East in 2005. Chimeramwe and I both were in the SCA in the 80s before coming to LARPing in the early 90s, and many folks I originally met in LARP have subsequently been dragged off to the SCA or vice-versa. (Nomadmwe and Siriel were LARP and SCA respectively and met because of that cross-pollination.)
Agraitear who plays many different LARPS now was SCA for many years. THe list is nearly endless as I think about it...
