I followed your link from hpart.

Those are amazing. I'm so glad that you shared those. I have, essentially, no artistic ability whatsoever. It's fun to look at people's completed artwork and admire it, but it's something else entirely to watch it being drawn. I'm fascinated and awed and all those good things. Oh, and also jealous. :)

Hahahahahahaha. After watching your Won-won painting for the dozenth time, I decided to try to copy it just to see what I could come up with. Here is my pitiful imitation:

Thank you! But, you know, when I see the ArtPads of Yoflam (http://www.livejournal.com/community/yoflam) I'm jalous, too ;-)

I don't have the flasj-player thing. Is there any chance you could put the pictures directly into your journal using photobucket or something?

They're good, but you need to work on their bodies. You've got their heads mostly down, but their bodies aren't stick-like, and have more volume to them. In the Pansy/Potter piccy, look at Pansy's head. Hers is larger than Potters by her hair, which shouldn't be. Her head should be just a little smaller than his, or the same size, but if you have hers larger by such an amount, you give the impression to the onlooker that she is somewhatolder than him, or perhaps part giant. Her face, also, is larger than his own, and that might need to be remidied.

These are just things that I think look wrong. If you disagree, its your art, and you do have talent, so you can not listen to me if you want, or take other opinions and weigh them yourself.

Wow! It's a bit amazing to receive a constructive review like this. I agree with you in every word, but all I will answer is "This is>/EM> practise." I know the bodies aren't perfect, I said in my last posts I was practising, and this is definetly practise. But thank you for this constructive comment, it's pretty rare.
