I do like them walking through the town hand-in-hand, and the girls' reaction was fun. Loved all of Lex's mental corrections at the beginning, too.

Welllll... admittedly it's more about the milkshakes ( http://archiveofourown.org/works/895851 ). After all, the ice-cream is made from milk that's practically straight out of the cows on-site at the 4-H, and combined with non-ice-creamified chilled milk that's just as fresh, that's about as fresh a milkshake as you can get, thar', don't'cha know? ;) ;)

....Aaaaand he may have 'pre-gamed' a bit (on the usual sort of milkshake) before heading out with Clark. Just so he'd have a recent comparison, mind you. Slightly. A bit. He'd like to be properly appreciative, and all that.
