I'm going to attempt setting up a help comm like help_haiti and help_japan for the South (which, as you may or may not have heard, was devastated by tornadoes on Wednesday).

Anyone with any kind of experience doing something like this or who just plain wants to help, please, let me know.

I'm happy to help if you need setup/organizational help, and anything you need to gack, text-wise, from help_haiti - feel free. I wish I could be more involved organizationally but work and RL are kicking me around this month and I know I won't have time in the next few weeks.

I would sign up and pimp it. I can't take one a new com or anything with my school schedule and Wincon. I'd happily support you, though. I could ask my flist if anyone else wants to help you?

Man, let me tell you, I loved you guys before, but even just getting a taste of what this is like makes me appreciate the Con Committee SO MUCH MORE. There is SO MUCH to do and I don't even have to worry about things like hotels and panels and catering like you guys.
