So sorry to hear this, Charlee. :( I was worried you'd wind up having to move out after your Dad's encounter with the law again, and I know the backup scenario isn't good.
Your mom... was never cut out to be a mom. Her caring is sporadic, and probably better when there are no strings (because hey, she can always kick the pregnant girl out later when it gets to be too much. Which wouldn't be at all fair to _her_, because when you're in a desperate situation like that and someone offers you a lifeline, you take it hoping that it's going to mean something and not add more drama to a bad situation.
Basically, everybody here loses or has the potential to do so. :(
Next question: are you getting public assistance for your disability? Is social security at all covering at least the currect expenses, if not the surgery which would really solve the whole darned thing?
And... is it worth the summer off from school to try to get a law clerk kind of job, or some other office job where there is a chair to sit in and where the stable and

Well, on the plus side? Now me and Yuss have a place to stay and Yuss will officially have a job once his drug test comes back and Fry's F&D is allowed to hire him. And Phil, who we're staying with, works at Dell and says that Singular--in his building--is hiring at like, eleven bucks an hour for warranty support. So depending on when the next training session opens I might have a job too!
