1) Linc teaching Michael how to defend himself. Boxing and tiny bit of karate and wrestling. Michael loosing teeth and various bruises, cuts, sprains, scrapes.

I love this idea - I said once before, I could swear I read a fic months ago, like one of the first PB fics I read, that was Linc teaching Michael to box - maybe that was just part of the fic, like a flashback, now that I think about it - but I couldn't find it anywhere when I went to look, and now I'm wondering if I imagined it. Either way, I totally want to see this.

Grin, considering that in clex's universe Michael and Linc half live together even well into college time they could just run into each other after work, cook and squabble.

I like the idea of young!Michael coming up with plans to deal with things, shades of the show that took place when they were kids.

I've always had this visual in my mind of a story where the mother kicks Lincoln out of the house (whether she really means it or if Michael is just afraid she could mean it is up for grasps). And Michael breaks something in the house (heating/plumbing, that kind of thing) so the mother has to call Lincoln back to fix things. And when he fixes things he of course knows that it was broken intentionally and that Michael did it.

My only problem is... I can't figure out how Linc thinks he abandoned Michael. Damn

I've always thought that Michael and Linc "broke up" as brothers either when Michael went to college or when LJ was born or when Linc had his self-destructing phase and pushed everyone away.

But it could be as early as the mother's death (Linc is 15 when she dies. You can get yourself emancipated at 15. So maybe Linc got himself emancipated and Michael was stuck in foster care for 4 years till he was old enough to get emancipated himself and they could be together again) or at late as Linc picking up the gun, getting himself caught and being in jail for 3 years.
