I am sad about Farrah Fawcett's death because she was able to give back by sharing her struggles.  I forgot to watch her TV special recently, but I'm guessing it will be back in re-runs ( Read more... )

Interesting. I feel so much the same. I think Farrah retained dignity in her finalty. I cried when I heard of her passing. Even knowing that news would come soon, I was still sad to hear it. Maybe due to watching someone go the way she did.

At first when I heard MJ had been sent to the hospital I thought he was jockying for some attention. My bad. I grew up with and was a fan of the young Jackson.

Had no patience for the obscene decadence of his adult lifestyle. And yet I danced all night to "I want to rock with you". That was a good era for him.

And I'll never forgive Farrah for having hair I could never duplicate in high school. ;-)

oh, she did indeed have a stylized look that was impossible to imitate without a salon staff.

and I saw her referred to in a CNN headline as "sex symbol Farrah Fawcett." and the beat goes on.
