It's been a long day, starting with a delicious buffet breakfast. I chatted with some of the other trainees who seem like a rather decent bunch. Then we had very very boring technology training tutorials. Their effectiveness was severely limited by their soporific quality

Day 2 and the Silk Brocade Cord Condoms

I have actually seen silk brocade cord condoms around cords and/or chains of ceiling-hung chandeliers and/or other light fixtures. Very High Victorian. And I've also seen brass cord covers descending from a sconce, which I find more attractive, not to mention safer, than a cord dangling on the wall. But I've never seen cord condoms, silk, brass or otherwise, for cords on the floor. I don't think Chords ever wear condoms.
