Well, I'm heavily flirting with the idea of getting a cheap custom and going Linux. You could always join me.

That would be cool, but I want to be able to test it out and see if Linux is for me first, I can try out both Macs and PCs here in the computer lab.

They all have their own quirks, I'd just rather not have to choose the one I dislike the least...

well, what are you rying to do with the mac? you can do it, yo ujust have to know tie ins and outs.

It's just little things that get on my nerves, maybe I'm just not used to computers doing things for me like when I'm trying to do something and it wants to do something else thinking thats what I want (sorry for a lack of concrete examples there). That and I don't like the Apple "we have to do things different than PC's because PC's are always wrong" attitude like the eject button and mouse (the mouse is fine for most things, but I really need a different way to right click for games).

I'll probably still go with an iMac, I'm really frustrated with the price though ZOMG WANT NEW COMPUTER NOW!
