Oh My Freakin Gosh!!! Cackling like a fiend starting with "Snakes on a Plane" (because obviously a Sharktopus vs. Megasnake marathon on SyFy can't keep Vala & Teal'c at Cheyenne) and continuing through to the very end!

"Four pregnancy testing kits and a bottle of mouthwash?"
Rotfling FOREVER at that. And Teal'c's quip about Goa'uld fashion sense.

So true about the people-watching: when my mom first immigrated to the States in the '60s, she wasn't as awed at the department stores as she was at the shoppers, who startled her with their unusual... girth. Most recent immigrants I know always remark on the size of the average American, and how they can't be bothered to find clothing that doesn't fit like sausage casing.

"No one has ever complained,"
BWA HA HA! Daniel can't dispute that. ;-D

we can play it in the rec room!Heck, she's uploading that to YouTube! (You know Jack already has a copy ( ... )

For many immigrants, obesity is a sign of wealth in their culture, but it's generally a fair indicator of poverty in this one. The cognitive dissonance alone (not to mention the bleeding eyeballs) has got to be startling.

Working on the Baal/Qetesh prompt now... it's a-gonna be angsty...

LOL Coincidence! That long, unfinished, unpublished D/V I keep nattering on about? It involves an oblique reference to high fructose corn syrup and US obesity.

Also, Ba'al/Quetesh angst!!!!! Woootz!

An interesting study... personally, I've always looked at the inverse relationship between wealth and weight with regard to the price of "healthy" foods vs. heavily processed ones. $6 for a bag of flash-frozen chicken breasts or $5 for a bucket of KFC?

Of course there's a camera in the general's office. Why didn't I think of that?

Love what Vala and Teal'c engraved on the tags.

Hehe... Next time he's forced to make an emergency Descension, you can bet Daniel's going to remember that!

I have trouble walking into Walmart anyway... eek. Fortunately, I have two Krogers in my hometown and a Kroger and a Meijer in my college's town.

You can bet Teal'c LOVED being able to share his outsider's viewpoint with someone of like mind. Vala, of course, would have been glad to share her opinions with anyone within hearing range.
