Bodice embellishment....

I ran out of funding for this project, but there are still a few things I can work on without worrying about buying my crystals, feathers and netting. I finally just got the base completed for the upper bodice embellishment. I'll be using cord embroidery and crystals over the top...
I have plenty of cord, but I want to get the crystals sewn on

It looks fantastic! I have also run out of funding for this one, and will hopefully get back to it during the summer (wasn't happy with the first batch of crystals, so I pulled them and are using them for something elso so they won't be wasted;) Yours looks so wonderful--I love your pleating!!

Thanks! I have a few more parts I can finish before needing to buy new supplies. But I'm not real keen on them - less fun than sticking feathers and crystals all over the bodice!
I am happy with the pleating. I choose the fabric with the pleating in mind, because it shaped just beautifully!

Thank you! If I ever finish her she'll probably be my favorite. Lots of love invested in this project..unlike my Padme's which I generally just wanted to cut up in small pieces. LOL.
