Well, the bad news is that I was trying to wrestle the e-book onto Lulu yesterday and I realized that while it's true, there are no production costs for an e-book, they DO calculate 25% of the price when you set it and add that back on top for themselves (not unreasonably), which means that the e-book would now be $6.25, and after a quick straw ( Read more... )

Okay, so: please recommend me some kind of free software to convert a Word document to a PDF file. I went to download.com and got the most highly-rated one, Foxit Reader, but then it turned out that you'd have to pay for the Creator part, and even if you just used the free evaluation version it would put a watermark on each page of your PDF and I'm ( Read more... )

The major creative part of it was blessedly done--now we begin the final editing/nit-picking process, which is a lot more finite and linear.
