If Under the Banner of Heaven is anything like the book, it will be more down the lines of "these particular religious extremists are bad, bad, delusional, and dangerous." The sticky part tends to be that many people have read the book and come away believing that they're experts on LSD theology and history, which is... not the case. (I'm neither, myself, but I've done a lot of research on some of the topics Kraukauer covers in his book.) It will almost definitely bring out people who feel strongly one way or the other.
