Wizards of the Shelf

Previously on The Secret Life of Dolls: Tonner Edward ended up with a daily ghost tea party on his housekeeping schedule.

He wasn't happy about it, either. Ellowyne Two had finally achieved in death what she had been unable to manage in life: his undivided, voluntary attention.

Well, somewhat voluntary.

A job worth doing is worth doing well )

dolls, gaming, twilight, the secret life of dolls, van helsing, pirates of the caribbean, his dark materials, this is going to end well, lord of the rings

I'm laughing so hard, I'm actually crying and my mom's giving me the side-eye from the kitchen.

That failed attempt at family game board night team bonding brings back so many memories of playing games at my house. It isn't a good time until someone throws the dice and storms off.

"You're an elf, you go KEEBLE!"

XD XD XD OH MAN. That sounds kind of dirty, really. "Go Keeble yourself!" XD

Is it bad that my favorite part of all of this was Faramir 2 and Legolas with the D&D game? XD "If you went first we wouldn't need anyone else." AWWWWWW!!!

OMGs THE DOOR. THE BOX AT THE DOOR!!! GASP! OMGs!!!

What does "Keeble" actually mean?

The Keebler Elves make Keebler Cookies, as I understand it; so it's being back-formed into a verb as "to Keeble", i.e. "to be an elf and make cookies."

...and re-reading the above I've realized just how far I'm going to avoid working on my essay right now that's due in just over 11 hours.

Anna as a paladin?! This will be interesting...

And I find the fact that dolls are playing Dungeons and Dragons to be intensely hilarious.

And is Lyra aware that capybaras are rather large?

PACKAGE!! Since it isn't December yet, it's too early for Alice, so I'm going to venture a guess at it being Bella.

The plot, she thickens!
