First of all: a new Secret Life of Dolls cliffhanger, wherein Bella finally discovers the Sparklerosa, is thataway.

(Looking over my shoulder, my mother asked me to explain what was going on in the entry. She had to have most of the doll source material references explained, but she knew immediately why I had called it the Sparklerosa. Heh ( Read more... )

You're the same as me, we don't go out enough to get the communal germs, so when we do they all attack and we have no resistance for them. :(

Also, The Hobbit better damn well be shown with a 2D option, or there will be much hissy-fitting from my direction. Not all of us can do 3D, Hollywood. Some of us don't have depth perception.

Given that the 3D in Alice in Wonderland killed the perspective they used to make Alice bigger (at least for me) (most noticeably in the scene with the White Queen, in an echo of a scene with Bilbo and Gandalf in The Fellowship of the Ring), I'm really not looking forward to The Hobbit in 3D, given that, again, they'll be using a lot of perspective to make the heights right.

Why do I get this sinking feeling that Bill Condon is trying to turn Breaking Dawn into Oscar bait?

I'm pretty sure that's why they hired him. Honestly, if they pull this Renesmee bullshit off, I could actually see them getting an effects nomination. I mean, Michael Bay movies get visual effects nominations.

If it does get nominated, that's one thing, but I don't know if I want to live in a world where "the Oscar-winning Twilight saga" is an actual thing.

The the fallen angel mix of doom snark made me laugh out loud hehe.

I remember a year or so back the Twilight hand lady did a signing or something and she seemed kinda scared about the attention. Now it seems like she's straight up injecting the crazy into the veins.

That bike flyer is frickin' awesome. Maybe I should do a similar one directed at the asshats who live in the apartment directly above me who insist on stomping around and slamming doors at 3:00 in the morning.

... maybe I shouldn't actually put it up until I'm ready to move to a new place, though. XD

"I... I was just joking about that!"

That's it, you must never joke about ANYTHING ever again. Unless you lock the entry. It's just too dangerous.

Elsewhere . . . Andrew Garfield & Emma Stone sounds like a good combination. Just saw him in "Never Let Me Go" -- liked the movie, was very impressed by him. And just saw her in "Easy A" -- hated the movie, but liked her.
