So, a few things--mostly Twilight-related, now that I think about it. Sorry in advance for that.

I'm still working on the Eclipse thing (eh, we can speak of it. We've all known for months, if not since November 2008, that I would be doing it). For some reason, I pretty much had a mild nervous breakdown trying to do the New Moon one, and for some ( Read more... )

twilight, where is your god now, movies, sparkle motion, edward cat, m15m, comics, we do not speak of it

Not Giving A Shit is the summary of the life lesson I've learned from menopause. IT'S LIBERATING.

When I get super-stressed, mostly over college and loans and crap, I switch into Not Giving a Shit mode. "Nope! I don't see you, problems! When I have my nose in a non-school-related book, I can't see you and you can't see me!"

It really is often the best option. There's no point in freaking out and going in circles over something.

Heeee, the pictures of Edward-cat with his belly up, all "Moar pettings nao" still make me grin.

Heh. He's a lot more forward than Actual Edward Cullen, that's for sure. But you can tell he must feel totally at home already, which makes me happy.

Which is incredible for his first day in a new home! Our first cat moped for days. Our second (Merlin), though, just hid for about an hour, then appeared all, "Hello. So it's kind of lonely under the bed." Also on his first day, he spotted a stuffed toy bear on my mom's windowsill, and promptly pulled it down and began fighting it for dominance. He still likes to "kill" it on occasion, just to keep things clear on who's the boss. (And then there's times when we'll find he's dragged it into his bed and fallen asleep on it.) I guess some kitties just get bored with hiding faster than others, heh.

Heeeeee. Bless. I don't remember what Bad Cat did--well, he was a kitten; he probably couldn't go very far.

Okay normally I hate spoof movies. I mean the first two Scary Movies were alright and then it was all beaten to death but...but I was actually amused watching that trailer. I feel so dirty now.

Ditto! It gave me brief chuckles and then a solid shameover.

So what I'm telling you here is that Not Giving a Shit is turning out to be a very positive experience, and I'm back to having fun with it.

As long as you're having fun with it, that is, seriously, the most important part.

Happy Edward Cat makes me happy.
