What are you using? My friend and I were sparkly vampires for Halloween one year and used the silver glitter hairspray that comes in the can. Looked just like you do there. I sort of distracted myself all day with how shiny I was.

Nah, that was Glamour Doll Eyes. The powders in the picture are from Aromaleigh, though. Lustre, Sparkle, and Dazzle.

I actually use the Dazzle for my LARP Changeling character.

Because FAERIES should sparkle (at least, the pretty ones should).

Not effing vampires.

I just want to say that I love your icon so much.

...And now I see you've changed it from the Buffy one to the Bunnicula one. LOL! Oh, well.

Not to cast aspersions upon Aromaleigh (I use their stuff and it's great) but that looks positively toxic!

It's just loose powder/glitter. I put on some cocoa butter lotion first to keep it on better, but that's all.

I looked on the website and it looks like the primary glittering agent is mica, a mineral that occurs naturally (and sparkly) in the soil. Not to say that everything natural is safe, but this one's pretty harmless.

To be fair, it was hard as hell to get on camera. It looks twice as good IRL. Seriously, the second picture, I look like a disco ball.

The question now is how well does it come back OFF.

The First Rule of Makeup: If you want it to stay on, it won't. If you want to get it off, you can't.

It washed off pretty easily, except that now my entire kitchen's vaguely glittery.
