While I am super thrilled Cate Blanchett will be returning as Galadriel... I don't actually remember her being in The Hobbit anywhere. Admittedly, I haven't read the book in at least seven years, so my mind could have glossed over any references to her, but still...

And yet, CATE. DO WANT.

I am 99.9% certain she does not appear until FOTR. And I totally don't care. I am actually most excited to see if they will do up some new dresses for her, because I'm like that.

Oh, me too. I'm just glad I was remembering right that she wasn't in it. But I love Cate Blanchett as Galadriel so much that I totally do not care that they've added her because, like you said, new costumes! (Hopefully.)

She's not directly referenced, but she's on the White Council, and I think PJ mentioned wanting to delve into the Necromancer storyline somewhat so they can flesh that out for the second film (the one that takes place in the 60 years between The Hobbit and FOTR). As for me, I'm just waiting for the second film in hopes that they'll get Viggo back and we can see Aragorn in Rohan and Gondor as a younger man.

God, I feel like a 14-year-old fangirl all over again. I missed that feeling. xD

I have very deep-set eyes, so I can't wear terribly dark colors; I'm mostly looking at softer, lighter shades.

Represent! Although I'm still addicted to darker shades, but I have finally learned that a caramel-y brown and powder eyeliner are my best friends.

I've just heard that it helps bring your eyes forward. Also, I wear glasses, so I feel like really dark shadow is just a bit too much going on. For me, at least.

I totally understand y'all. I am really pale and blonde, and therefore, I look emo/goth when I wear dark shades.

I wear glasses and have slightly deep set eyes (at least I think so) and I rock the dark/bold colours fairly regularly. It's all about using them in the right away.

I also have an Aromaleigh addiction. If you're using their eyeshadows, it's worth getting the sealant stuff as well.

I so, so want to buy my own full-size jar(s). I know I want Lustre, because yeah, it's very low-key and versatile. But I kind of want the other two as well to dress up regular eyeshadow or use as highlighter. Not, like, to coat myself in.

(I actually wore a combination of Lustre and Dazzle as eyeshadow to the New Moon preview, and it was so subtle that no one even noticed. Probably because they were too busy staring at the woman with glitter spackled over her entire face.)

Aw, don't! Honestly, I want to dig out one of the purple hearts that says DAZZLE, shellack it, and turn it into a ring or something. You know, pry one of those adjustable bands off some cheap ring I've got somewhere and glue it on.

Hmmm... One can actually acquire ring mounts at Michael's that would be perfect for such a purpose...

I foresee a side business selling that on Etsy!

err, your picture isn't working (at least not for me).

Aromaleigh is awesome! I think I have something like 120 eyeshadow samples at this point. The samples last for freaking long I never bother to by fs.

Wish is a lovely color! Fox and Olivia are nice too if you want more color without having COLOR! I believe you said your eyes are green and Olivia makes my deep set greens eye pop!

Yeah, I had to go upload it somewhere else ASAP. You're not crazy. : )

I WANTED FOX BUT IT WAS SOLD OUT AND I CRIED. I did get Olivia! That was the first sample I ordered a while back, so my Twilight sample order would reach the minimum order level. Then they sent me Luster (the beige, not Lustre the Twilight powder) as a sample, and they look really good together.

Don't you hate when colors are sold out! I always fall in love with her limited collections like the en point colors. I am a sad panda when they go away.

I haven't tried any of the Twilight powder stuff, sounds interesting...
