I would so love to go to the Sirens conference. I rode my bike to the library nearly every day the summer when I was 11. I discovered Tamora Pierce's Song of the Lioness Quartet and fell in love. I delved into fanfiction and fanart because of those books. 20 years later, I still have a set on my bookshelf.

Too bad finances will probably prevent me from attending. :-(

I found Tamora Pierce's books in middle school. I still have all my originals =) Ollld cover art and all =) I re-read them about every 2 years. They never get old.

Augh. I would love to go to the conference, since I'm in Colorado Springs as it is. Sadly, I have no monies and what I do have is getting saved for my visitor in a few months. Looks awesome. Let us know if you do end up attending - I want pictures[scenic, etc.]!

After I posted that, I couldn't stop myself from making a really lame Monica Lewinsky joke. Just thought you should know. I'll go hang my head in shame now.

I met Tamora Pierce at a Con once--she is kind of an intimidating woman, especially for one so short! But still amazing to see in person....

Good luck with all of that!
