Can't say I'm heartbroken about Outpost Gallifrey...that was the most bitter messageboard I've ever visited, which is saying a lot! I can see why i09 is upset though, they basically copy and pasted all of their DW news and rumors from there.

The old-school Who forums on the OG were actually...nice sometimes, once the new-school show was well underway. And I am going to miss the place as an unparalleled rumor mill. It was sort of like a mild version of 4chan for the fandom - producing the occasional good thing that spread throughout the Web, without sane people needing to visit it directly. Lyon's non-explanation for why he won't hand over the reins is a doozy, too. *blinks*

Oh God. Pierce Brosnan and Robert Pattinson. Does Pattinson exude some kind of internet transmissable insanity inducing phermone? Because he is the only person on the planet that activates my Real People Slash Goggles.

Like the whole Comic Con/Gates of Hell Opening thing? When his hair went on high alert? And it looked like he'd just been shagged? Keanu Reeves was there, I'm just saying. Plus the whole sex-in-a-closet look he was sporting at the Goblet of Fire premiere.

At first I was pretty upset, but I could see this being actually positive, say, if this leads to more content on the site. Because I'm really annoyed that after finishing the dvds of the shows I'm catching up on, I can only watch the last five episodes of the current season. If this leads to whole seasons being online, I'd pay. If not, I'll go back to scouting out episodes on network websites. Or buy a TiVo.
