The fish-eye thing is "camera lens distortion" and there's some complicated reason for it having to do with optics. :) (It can be corrected in photoshop, fwiw.)

Love having the reference photos!

And yeah, TLE is a full ten inches shorter than New Edward. You can see how this might get interesting.

And this may be a stupid question, but does/has the Galadriel Barbie ever come out to play with the other Shelfians? Or am I just not paying enough attention?

I've always just said that she either doesn't talk or she's too smart to get involved. I can handle duplicates of a lot of characters (I mean, I bought both the Arwens myself), but for some reason, Galadriel is just one that I can't. And yet she's my favorite LOTR character, so I would definitely collect any doll of her I liked; I would just keep it off-story.

I think, in one of the earliest SLOD entries, Cleo mentioned that Barbies don't talk. In reference to... Aurora Barbie, IIRC.

Is it bad that I actually feel bad for The Littlest Edward now? He finally seemed to be getting a place so to speak (we know he really loves those ponies) and then this giant just comes jaaammmmmeeeeeessssssss dddeeeeeeeeeaaaannnnnnnning in. :( Poor guy.

But seriously, I can't wait to see how this plays out. :D
