Oh my God, I am so behind on everything and I pulled a leg muscle moving boxes yesterday so I took some Aleve and a nap late this afternoon and I woke up feeling loopy and tireder and I kind of arrgh. So I have a number of things to get to, but I think I'm going to mention them tomorrow so they don't get lost in the shuffle.

An Excerpt From Pride and Prejudice and Zombies [Great Moments In Literature].
I'm not even an Austen fan, but I can't tell you how much this book amuses me. Or how amused I am by how quickly it continues to fly off our shelves.

At the Barnes & Nobles where I got mine, the store had a section for required books for local schools. P&P&Z was stacked in that section, which leaves me to imagine some interesting discussions in 9th grade English.

Also, the book is awesome. The study guide alone is genius.

This book available now? For some reason, I kept thinking it was going to be release in April. hm...

But I seriously have to read this. ;)

On those True Blood Pictures...

Where the hell did Eric's hair go? I thought it was a weirdly highlighted Bill at first.

Other than that, it looks promising, though! I'm missing this show so much!

Maybe I've just been reading the books too much lately. I feel like the long hair is a part of him! I'll have to see several other pictures before I'm convinced it's a good idea.*hints to True Blood staff*

I second this. Reminds me of when Glen Quinn [Doyle] died.

My condolences to his family.

Years ago, shortly after he was dropped from the show. He was a heroin addict... which is probably one of the reasons he was written out. (Joss Whedon claims he "planned it that way", but I always got the feeling he said that because he didn't want to talk shit about Quinn.)

*out from the depths, the voice of my AP English teacher drilling constantly into our heads* "It's A Doll House, possessing it completely undermines Ibsen's intent of the allusion of the title!"

Or something like that. I've forgotten now. But he was really stern on it being A Doll House. Very stern. So stern I can remember it six and a half years later.

Holy shite, I'm getting old

We don't have the word "dollhouse" or phrase "doll house" in British English, it's "a doll's house" or "a dolls' house."

Yeah, I... with all due respect to everyone famous who has died this year, this is the first one that's really hit me. Holy god, what.

this is the first one that's really hit me.

Me, too. I was very sad about Natasha, but the news about Andy Hallett is the first time in a long time that I've really broken down and cried over an actor's death. He just exuded such light and gave so much to the show, it's hard to believe he could possibly be gone.

*HUGS* The whole Joss Whendon fandom seems to be coming together.

I won't be able to watch Angel the same now...
