This head cold is driving me crazy--of course, I have the luxury of saying that because it's not very bad. It's the kind of light cold where you sit around moaning all day that man, there is just nothing worse than a stubbed toe, you know? Because you've forgotten what a real knock-you-down bug feels like, you've forgotten anything but the thickish ( Read more... )

I KNOW RIGHT?!?! There are SO MANY reasons why this is the most fail idea I've ever heard of. I feel like I can hear the pitch in my head. "Yeah, tons of people saw this beautifully crafted, critically acclaimed, and oscar nominated movie. And yeah, it only came out a scant five years ago. But it was full of weird looking people I can only describe as 'not-white'. No one could have really liked it all that much. I mean, could you understand what was going on? I couldn't, they weren't even speaking English! I AM white, and thusly can do it better with my lovely white cast. Also, NEEDS MOAR ZOMBIES!".

I am SO SO SICK OF REMAKES.

Ahahaha @ the zombies part. Let's stick zombies in every remake!

Well, you know, really, everything needs more zombies?

And while I wouldn't say I LOVED HoFD (it was very pretty, but the plot of "Roshomon" was easier to follow) it's just too...pretty to remake.

If they try to remake "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon", I may have to go all Wudan on their asses, though.

Well, it's nice that somebody remembers [REC] and not that godawful unnecessary remake Quarantine. I mean, seriously. Yeah, [REC] is in Spanish, but did they really have to remake it the very same year as crap? What, we're too stupid for subtitles? Oy.

We aren't... but the majority of people are.
No joke. I work at a movie store and people are always wanting their money back because they didn't know the movie they rented was subtitled... ("I don't want to read my movies")

OH THE HORROR!!! *eye roll*

However I will acknowledge that scary movies aren't as scary when you are reading words at the bottom of a screen. The movies are still GOOD just not so much with the scary...

I thought the Doctor Who and Torchwood dolls were Tonner FINALLY revealing their line. But no joy. :(

Me too! I think I have gotten so insanely worked up waiting to see what they will look like that I'm going to be let down when they finally do release pictures, no matter how well crafted they are.

first, I will get the mini companion set (WEE SARAH JANE, OMG!) and then I will get the Tonner dolls, and soon THE WORLD!

Uh. I mean, I am not weirdly in love with Doctor Who, what.

how to write the Doctor (tenth doctor doing Hamlet, anyway):

"To be, or not to be, that is the question. Weeelll.... More of A question really. Not THE question. Because, well, I mean, there are billions and billions of questions out there, and well, when I say billions, I mean, when you add in the answers, not just the questions, weeelll, you're looking at numbers that are positively astronomical and... for that matter the other question is what you lot are doing on this planet in the first place, and er, did anyone try just pushing this little red button?"
