Stayed off Mountain Dew today, although it was hard--interestingly enough, because I really, really missed the taste of it, not the caffeine. That's always what brings me back around to it--the taste, for some reason. Of course, I still had a caffeine-withdrawal headache anyway, but today's was less deathly than yesterday's. (I'll say it up front, ( Read more... )

I haven't had Mountain Dew in ages. It's always been a bit too sweet for me, even though I've got quite the sweet tooth.

I just had Mountain Dew, and I don't even like the taste that much. Ugh, caffeine related headaches are awful.

When did Emma Thompson say she wasn't coming back? D:

"I thought she was a sh*t Trelawney, and now i think even less of her for not committing to HP. good riddance" says K, and gets a point for consistency.

"A Nanny McPhee sequel won’t be as widely-received as the last Harry Potter movie, and if Emma Thompson honestly believes anything to the contrary, she’s just kidding herself." says Reader511, because actors only act in films likely to make the BIG BUCKS and have no other considerations.

"Its a disgrace..Anyone who portrayed a reoccuring character in any potter movie woud understand they would be expected to return should the book require it…If they cant then they should decline the offer to start with or we would have 100 actors playing 8 characters. SHould be a contract clause but warner hasn’t got any sense any way to forsee any thing..maybe Thompson can lend Waner her craysat ball as she won’t need it any more." says Joanna Martin, proving a perfect understanding of actors' work, contracts, and sequels.

...Oh gods, why did I look at the comments? *scrubs herself clean*

"crystal" I suppose? You'd have to be typing VERY quickly to make that spelling mistake. Perhaps the person in question was jabbing angrily at the keyboard with long rose-patterned fake fingernails and couldn't help a few stray letters.

I'm an ardent Emma Thompson fan, and have been even more so since she wore this to an interview on Stephen Fry's 50 Not Out program.

Yep. And that's Flash Gordon/Aris Boch she's hiding behind.

It's sad how many talented (and/or hot) actors never seem to work again after their debut show gets canceled.
