The Phantom of Manhatten? But that book was BAD.

To me, Phantom of Manhatten was like bad fanfic. Never have I read a book the whole way through going "the hell?" the whole time in utter confusion. It was like a trainwreck I couldn't look away from.

It kind of WAS fan fic, but it was at least not as awful as "The Canary Trainer." Not as cracktastic as Kay's "Phantom" (DAMN, I wish I could find my copy of that) but not as horrible as anything involving Holmes.
