God, my jaw is killing me (left side). Tension, I guess. Anyway, Sister Girl came home from the podiatrist and now she has a "flayed Achilles tendon," so I'm pretty much just waiting for the other shoe to drop and fall on my head (so to speak). Mom's foot's doing reasonably okay, though.

Wait... we need a new 'Fame'? What was wrong with the old one?

Also, I think it's funny that Kelsey Grammar will be in it, since his daughter went to the L.A. version of the school.

edit: Other things:
re: Emily the Strange. I've been arguing that perspective for YEARS.
re: Astronomy students. SWEET.
re: Neil Gaiman. My hero. <3
re: Agora. My parents tell me frequently that they wish they had named me Hypatia. My father suggests regularly that I should change my name to Hypatia. Usually when I say that, people say "Who?" After this movie, maybe I should change it after all...

I always just assumed it was linked to Nate the Great...

Seriously, I was explaining to a friend over a year ago how exciting it was that a picture book character had become such a symbol. She had no idea what I was talking about.

Twilight saw its box-office take plummet 62 percent in its second weekend of release, virtually tying for second place for the Thanksgiving period with an estimated $26.4 million, the Associated Press reported.

Aaaaand, all is right with the universe once again.

Also, that Gaiman article on free speech made me love him even more, which seems to somehow defy the laws of god and man.

Glad to hear your mom's doing better.

I have a deep and abiding love for Rome. Among other things - sooooo pretty. And there was potential at the end!

Also, I agree on Dawn Treader.
