I can't even think of a title

I knew this was going to happen, and yet--I still can't quite believe it myself:

'Twilight': Early box office is bloody good! The film adaptation of Stephenie Meyer's vampire-romance saga scored $7 million from shows at midnight on Thursday, and it's on pace to bank as much as $30 mil on Friday, Variety reports. That Harry Potter-esque sum would ( Read more... )

twilight, movies, sparkle motion, box office

Just got back, and THE LULZ, OMG THE LULZ. This is the best movie of my entire life. My audience was very vocal, but thankfully at the right moments, although they did feel the need to squeal every time a character was first introduced. And there must have been a lot of Jacob fangirls in the audience, because he got squeals every time.

But the scene with Bella and Edward macking on her bed got the best reactions ever. From near the back of the theatre: "You go girl! Get it! GET IT!" And then when you see what she's wearing on the bottom half, the girl in front of me shouted, "WHERE YOUR PANTIES, GIRL?" Heee.

And was I the only one who couldn't stop giggling at the super emo score? I want to play it on my stereo all day long while I scrapbook.

... that's a really weird choice. I mean, it sounds cool but thematically, it's only appropriate to the story if you take the lyrics at their most literal meaning. *baffled*

Thanks!

My audience laughed through the whole movie. There were the fan girl squeals every time a new character came on screen but the same thing happened during the previews when they showed the new HP preview. Other than the three girls in the audience who yelled out randomly "sssssshhhh, I am trying to watch the movie!" the rest of the audience was great.

...uh... do I want to know what she was wearing on the bottom half? They don't get it on for another three books, y'all, don't jump the gun here.

Hahaha, so for some reason I couldn't find a good picture of the scene after a quick search, but I did find this. What you want is at 0:16. In some shots during the scene, her t-shirt pretty much obscures what she's wearing on the bottom half so it looked... questionable. Where your panties, indeed.

LOL...

We had a nice quiet audience for the most part, minus a few 4th-grade giggles during the kissing scene in Bella's room.

By far the best, though, was when Edward says he's been coming to her room for months, and some woman down near the front goes, "....PERVERT." We all got a good giggle out of that.

We had someone in the theater who said stalker in place of pervert, but it was still funny

dude, to be fair, Jacob in that movie is super dreamy. I kind of want to see New Moon now just for moar Jacob scenes.
