Skipping ahead a bit, I have no idea what Lafayette puts in the Chief Redneck's soup, but apparently it's spit-take-worthy (and... cooked over the burner in a spoon?).

I don't think anything was put in the soup. The spoon was heated up to burning levels and then placed in the soup. Redneck put the spoon in his mouth and burned himself.

Awesome recap, as always. Made the day worth slogging through.
