First: Recap icons from phlourish-icons!

Second: I have got to give a million thanks and e-cookies to mcamason, who has saved both my fingers and my sanity by finding transcripts of the dialogue captioning. They don't describe the action (or even tell you who's speaking), so just reading the dialogue isn't really going to help if you didn't watch the show, but it's a ( Read more... )

Oh bless you. This is worth every snurfle with accidental tea breathing.

And I so want an icon with 'premature fangulation' on it since that phrase never ceases to crack me up!

Hee, thanks. Quite honestly, I feel like my LJ writing just suddenly got a lot better over the course of the last six months or so--that might be what it is.

Isn't it a fire hazard to have melty candles all over books like that? Especially during wild love-making.

Love your retelling of the pecan pie scene; I completely agree with what you're saying. (My gram also made a mean pecan pie, btw. And that scene reallly made me want some.)

Tonight will be the dealbreaker episode -- how can they keep up with this? (Nevermind top it, just not go downhill. I'm happy if they plateau here.)

I know, I'm actually kind of scared. I really did not expect them to consummate the Bill/Sookie thing so quickly, although after the time I've spent in Twilight fandom, I wouldn't, would I? PREMARITAL VAMPIRING O NOES

Oh, they still have at least one major card up their sleeves. Speaking as one who has only read the first book.

I can't wait for that episode, whenever it may be [Though if we can judge by when it was in the book, it should be SOON.] and for your recap.. Just promise you will remember to try and breathe through the hysterical laughter.

Obviously they had to go ahead and consummate -- otherwise we'd never get a delightful "Bill doesn't like me anymore!"/"Bill is deeead!" storyline. Argh.

Actually, I enjoyed last night's episode, and I'm less worried about them going downhill fast. And I love Sookie announcing to the whole bar how much she enjoyed sex with Vampire Bill. (I did not enjoy HBO quoting their online posters after the credits.)
