Number of times I walked Pete, who I was dogsitting: 6.

Number of things I got done today: ZERO.

It's amazing how not getting anything done can leave you so tired. Either that, or it's the fact that I was up all night with an upset stomach. (Oh, that.)

Hmm. Today's flashback omg help I am running out of entries: Let's go with the post I wrote Read more... )

The Twilight-madness makes me want to go to the tour stops (even though I have absolutely no interest in anything Twilight other than your LJ entries) just to add a little sanity to the venues. I hate it when crazy people make fandom look bad.

I can't wait for the recap of this week's True Blood.

I like this show, and the wife and I were still riffing on it so hard.

I feel for RPattz, I do! Oh, and funnily enough, the first thing my husband said when I made him watch the Twilight trailer is "Why aren't they sparkling?" :-)

That Holocaust love story was something!

Heeeeeee.

(So The Duchess was good? Or... just the costumes?)

LOL - I am this close to boarding a plane to Alabama so I can watch the movie with you. But I'm sure we would end up getting kicked out for laughing too much! ;-)

Yes, I liked the Duchess a lot! I thought the acting was good and I didn't read Amanda Foreman's book, so from an uninformed perspective, I thought they did a decent job telling a story, though I'm sure they took liberties. Wow, that was a long sentence, sorry! Did I mention the costumes? :-)

First: yay Paul Krugman!

Second: Ok, I've read the Guillermo del Toro interview twice, and I cannot for the life of me figure out what he is saying. I don't know whether to be excited or scared by this. Right now I'm leaning toward scared. Please don't ruin Slaughterhouse-Five.
