TIMMY. Once I saw Timmy, I knew I would never watch a soap opera again because nothing would ever seem remotely startling after that.

Back in the day I used to watch General Hospital, and I thought it got too crazy when there was an Evil Twin thing. Seriously. I never would have lasted through DOOL.

Sigh. I miss Passions a lot. It was taken off air over here around the time that Luis was rescusing Sheridan for about the billionth time. I think she had amnesia, but I can't imagine that helps.
Weren't they always making really obvious comparisons between Sheridan and Princess Diana?

You know what, I checked Wikipedia, and LUIS DID NOT END UP WITH SHERIDAN. I don't even know how that's possible, or why they bothered.

Passions was taken off the air here about a year ago, it was moved to direct tv only, so the rest of us lowly cable watchers were denied our lunatic fix.

last time I watched it, Luis and Sheridan were not together, Luis was with Sheridan's niece, Fancy (no i am not making up that name apparently there is also a sister named Pretty), and Sheridan had gone completely round the bend/off her rocker/batshit insane and was a horrible bitch. Luis kind of hated her at that point.. wish i knew what happened after that...

I think she had finally realised what a bitch she'd been so accepted it was over. Then Antonio finallycame back from the dead ("Another one of your father's sick tricks," he says, revealing he's been held prisoner in Boston) so she ended up with him instead. There was a quadruple wedding - Miguel and Kay, Noah and Paloma, Luis and Fancy, and Ethan and Teresa (it was supposed to have been Gwen re-affirming her vows with Ethan, but Rebecca let it slip that Gwen had once been married in Vegas, so her marriage to Ethan was never valid).

I didn't get to see it after it moved to Direct TV, but I caught up with the last year in recaps here:

Josh Ryan Evan!!! RIP, he played little Grinch as well in the flashback scenes, he was awesome, but Timmy was NOT evil. He was more like Tabby's conscience until she got knocked up over Martimmis with Julian...who knocks everyone up...and Endora took over as her conscience.

Gosh, the Timmy years were best though, before the incest storylines took over...and Julian's penis was cut off.

All I know from Passions I learned from Spike on Buffy. I heard about the Timmy doll and got too freaked out to even attempt to watch.
