You wanna know something hilarious? I had this Anne Taintor calendar last year (see icon for more of her work), and every month the text seemed to have some weird bearing on my life at the time. So I got another one this year, and it's been just the same... only more so. Here's April's text:

Totally unrelated, but remember how Clive Owen became the new spokesman for Lancôme? I remember there were some "wtf" reactions around here when it was announced. Well, the ads have been released, and...uh. Yeah.

Uh. You know, if you have to photoshop the guy that thoroughly... maybe he is not the ideal pitchman for your product. Unless maybe your product is Photoshop 9.0.

And when you have an actor whose sexual appeal is rooted in his rugged look, what to you have him sell? Why, anti-aging cream of course!

He isn't even the worst example of celebrity-shopping that I can find. This is. At least Owenbot bares somewhat of a resemblance to his fleshy counterpart.

Hugh Laurie in some of the House promos gets it badly too. It's like the photoshopper is used to removing the pores of twenty-somethings on CW shows, and when they are faced with some actual cragginess they panic.
