*Grumble* Can't those geeks get it right? It's not Aztec doom in 2012; it's Mayan doom! They're the ones that made the freakin' calendar.

Well, it can't be any worse than the anime version. Or the utter waste of time which was the Connor/Duncan movie. Or the one that came after that. Or... yeah.

(I own the Raven boxed set, so arguably I have no leg to stand on. Ah, well.)

I watched that Sex and Breakfast movie on Netflix. Sort of interesting characters, but by the end, the sex is lame and you just want to smack them all around a bit.

Jurassic Park Four would be the stupidest film ever. I couldn't even make it through number three.

I don't even care who wins AI at this point.

Natascha McElhone's husband found dead.

James Cameron's 'Avatar' May Be Beautiful, But With A Boring Story
Oh, io9, you and your sensationalistic headlines. I thought that assessment actually had some merit. But no.

It's Official: Mike Myers and Rest of 'Love Guru' Principals Doomed to 1,000 Years in Hell.

I must say the thought of Twilight fans ending up watching a Russian film instead does make me giggle. Though the Day Watch series has vampires. None of them sparkle but they are there. I really enjoyed both films myself. I'm delighted there's going to be a third one. I must get the books out of the library this summer.
