I went out to lunch with my dad today, and since he hadn't gotten Mothers Day cards yet, we swung by Hallmark to get some so that I could get another webkinz. I feel insane. Now I have four.

My new one is a leopard named Pollux. If I get another at some point, he will be named Castor. My main problem is that the cuteness of the physical stuffed animal and the webkinz avatar don't always match. The polarbear is awesome, and both work. But with the dog I got before, the stuffed animal is super cute and the avatar is weird, and I kind of feel the opposite with the leopard.

The leopard avatar is SUPER cute, yeah. But yeah, I know what you mean. (You have nothing to feel insane about, because you are so very, very far behind me. Although, in my defense, I've been collecting for like two years now.) Which ones did you get?

I now have a poodle that my babysitter from when I was little sent me about two years ago (she was way ahead of the curve on it, which is funny since she doesn't have a working computer or email address. She probably just thought it was cute and saw the word "web" in it), but I never really liked it cause of the weird fur, so I never registered it (too stressed from school, and I had VMK.) Now I have registered it, and her name is Gloria.

Then when I heard VMK was closing, I got the polar bear to try out, who of course I named Iorek. Then I got the Cocker Spaniel for Webkinz Extravaganza and named it Gwydion, then I got the Leopard as part of the Webkinz Extravaganza on Saturday and named him Pollux

Also, how many do you have? And what are their names? I can't remember if you ever said specifically.

Also also, when are you usually online? I really want to see what your room looks like. On Iorek's account, I have a garden and a large Alchemist room and a small room with the clouds & castle design. Then on the other account I have a classroom room with desks for all the webkinz, a fun room in a jungle style (for the leopard's included sofa, which I love) and a blue clouds room with a bed.

I don't know what it says about the industry, or those writing about it, where a studio waiting to see how a second movie in a series does before moving ahead with a fourth one means doom. From where I stand, it means sanity. Do these guys think about what they're getting two Christmases from now while opening their gifts?
