Since I've just gotten off work, so to speak, and I want to lie down: trailer_spot has the hi-res direct downloads of the new Golden Compass trailer, so I downloaded the bigger one and made screencaps (with a delightful free program I found that did it all automatically. There is literally no way I could be more excited about this movie. I think they're doing a pretty good job expressing how important the daemons are, which is allaying my worries about how they'd portray the horror of severing.

I was just thinking how when I was 12, I daydreamed about playing Lyra in a movie (the problem of me not being British of course did not cross my mind). I'd be so jealous if I weren't 25 now.

Thanks! I'm downloading the caps now. Is there a picture of Pan sticking his tongue out? Because they were showing that one some of the smaller screens at the reception last night but I don't remember if it's in the trailer or not. Anyway, it's out there, it's cute, do look for it.

Man, I just added his icon and it sure is getting a workout. Should I assume that there will be some Lyra and Serafina heroine icons coming soon (unless there already are and I'm being old and forgetful).
