DON'T PANIC

Oct 05, 2007 16:35

Okay, so I've got a lot to get through today. Onward:

The good news: After a week of intense work, I finished typing up several dozen pages of handwritten notes from August and September, leaving me now with 62 pages (22,000+ words) of Hot! Disorganized! Note-Taking Action! And! AND! ( I'm sure I'll probably despair again at some point in the process... )

harry potter, black ribbon, narnia, epic fail, movies, his dark materials, lost, writing, sweeney todd, lord of the rings

Well, that's because Mos Def is a very hoopy frood.

Haha, that's what I was thinking. I think I'll rewatch that movie this weekend.

So glad that cashier got compensation.

Haha, I totally read that Martin Freeman headline as Morgan Freeman and was like, "Wait, naked Morgan Freeman what? o.0 Melodrama, huh?" And yet I still clicked the link.

I feel like many of the reviews are undervaluing Cooper's book. This whole thing is depressing me. The only good news is that the reviews don't like the movie either.

Well, that Isabella Rossellini picture is going to be some good old fashioned nightmare fuel for me.

Fellow geek Mike Russell (gooble gobble, one of us, one of us) reviewed The Sucker Seeker and I thought you'd appreciate his thoughts. I quote: "There's just no sense of mission or urgency here -- unless, of course, the mission was to stand around, declaim in bad weather and fall down a lot."

Well, one out of three ain't bad, given that both Frodo and Harry do a lot of falling down themselves. Of course, by "ain't" I mean "is still totally."
