Another hypomanic episode...

Feb 04, 2007 14:53

Dammit! My Fiction Press account got eaten! Probably because I never used it! Oh well. I was kind of antsy about having unpublished stuff online anyway. The only thing I wasn't sure I'd backed up was "The Two Tickets," and my Google-fu unearthed a backup here on my journal ( Read more... )

The college I was going to go to (University of Evansville) apparently has a Quidditch team... I love that there are real teams.

Speaking of Passions, I just remembered (again) that the whole reason I found your journal and friended you was because of the Days of Our lives recaps. Man, I should go back and read some of those again. Those were absolutely hilarious! I mean, when Crazy Jan kidnapped Shawn-Douglas and wore the old lady costume to seduce him while he was tied to the bed? Quality. TV.

Awww. That's one of those things I wish I could have kept doing, but the five-days-a-week thing was exhausting. That, and there was just a point where I wasn't even watching anymore. Also going in the wiki: something about the phenomenon wherein I start recapping something all gung-ho and then fizzle out without ever finishing a series.

Is the sudden need to go back through old entries related to LJ's recent announcement that they'll be introducing a search feature soon? Because I just started doing the same thing, for that reason.

They are? Huh, I didn't know. No, I've just been really slack about tagging entries, and then there are the entries that were written before tags, and it's really hard to assemble a list of entries about the Secret Life of Dolls if all your doll entries aren't tagged.

Oh, and for the wiki? Don't forget about Cleoism! Or the Nancy Drew outline! Or beergnets!

It's a pity about the Wonder Spot in Wisconsin. I went to one of those mystery spots near Mammoth Cave in central Kentucky, and it was freaking awesome.

Yeah... I've been out to one in South Dakota, and it was a lot of fun. (Though it's really sad, just going from that article, how many people can't make a fairly educated guess at how it works...)

I was a teenager at the time, and I thought it was completely obvious how it worked. I didn't think there was supposed to be a big mystery about it at all. Then again, maybe I'm too smart for my own good.

Yeah... It was pretty obvious it was just an optical illusion. I mean, as soon as you walked in, the walls were eight feet high and slanted, and didn't exactly line up with the trees. =P

I really hope people were just saying they didn't know because they didn't want to, rather than not actually understanding. But it's good to know I wasn't the only one who could figure it out! =)

I don't have anything pressing to say, but I seem to have fallen off the comment bangwagon lately and i didn't want to let myself go back to lurking, so hi.

I love this wiki idea. Since I have start reading you I have been introduced to so many fun and interesting resources, and I feel like a Cleo wiki is just going to be a big barrel of fun. And give me access perhaps to things that occurred before I started reading.
