Horoscope of Eerie Aptness: Whatever your luck has been lately, expect it to take a radical new course today. In other words, if you've been on a lucky streak, it's coming to an end today -- so don't take any major risks. In addition to being a horrible crime, the shooting in Chicago made news because the building it took place in also houses one of the big three commuter train stations downtown and it unfolded just before Friday afternoon Rush Hour. Usually 50,000 commuters go thru that station every afternoon, but the police SWAT teams had the building sealed off. I'll bet every bar in the neighborhood did a bang-up business as people waitied to see how and if they were going to get home.

Horoscope of Are You Mocking Me?: Listen to your internal timepiece today, because only you truly know what time it is. My internal timepiece has been telling me it's booze o' clock since eleven this morning. I'm thinking, no.

Nicolas Cage plans to cut back on acting

"Cut back"? (Okay, that was mean. I'll go stand in the corner, now.

Ok, I realize I live under a rock, but that's beside the point...

Is it sad to anyone else that the whole "fact-based agenda" thing made me think (with great disgust) that Colbert was a Bushite, until I realized he's a comedian?

Awww, hee. He started out on The Daily Show and now has a show that's basically a parody of Bill O'Reilly's. So... yeah, he's just really, really good at what he does. That, or some of the more blowhardy conservative pundits have just gotten that ridiculous, that it's hard to tell the difference.

(I think Colbert's crowning moment was taking his faux-Bushite schtick to the press correspondents' dinner and roasting Bush to his face.)

From Gaiman's blog:
Create your own U.S. map, World map, etc.

(You click the states/countries you've visited, and it colors them on the map.)
