Do not ask for whom the flaming chicken clucks

Wrote some last night--I had to push a little bit to keep going, which says to me that it wasn't a hypomanic episode or anything. Which is kind of encouraging, as it says that I can write whether I'm having moodswings or not. I'm going to start going on Lamictal sometime later this week, I think, so that'll be interesting.

Now I need to see this movie just so I can laugh when the "Beware the flaming chicken with bird flu! It will steal your cows and violate your women!!" part comes on.

Holy shit, I ADORED Kids, Inc. when I was little. I think I might have repressed that clown video because that is fucking freaky.

Yeah...did you see Gaiman's comment (near the bottom of the post) about that issue? I just kind of wonder if it's strictly a hypomanic thing or at least in part a writer thing. I can't find it right now, but Dave Barry wrote something ages ago about how hard it is to be a humorist because you have to be funny even when you are not feeling in the least bit amused. (He put it better, of course.)

I watched Kids Inc when they actually showed it on our local station-- and was absolutely SHOCKED to hear that Fergie was the little sister on the show.

WTF happened? Though some of the BEP's tunes are damn catchy.

Mario was on it- along with some other folks- the oldest girl went on to sing Toy Soldiers as Martika (I think) which was used by Eminem for a song not too long ago.
