The latest entry on the Literature of Antebellum Reform reading list is Ten Nights in a Bar-Room And What I Saw There (1851), and it's gone from sort of quaintly engaging to balls-out melodrama in a matter of chapters. Yeah, no--I totally don't look that good. I didn't even know it was Frances Farmer until I did a little research into the original image because I wanted to make more graphics, but... yeah. Totally not me. I wouldn't plaster my face all over a movie site anyway. I bet you're not the only person who thought that, though. ;)
