Man, I can't believe Forrest Gump came out when I was in high school. I remember "Life is like a box of chocolates" being the senior quote of half my graduating class (the other half quoted Braveheart).

NEXT ON TNT: The really short awards show that also has booze, so it's my favorite to liveblog! Seriously, they get two hours and no more.

I think Demian Bichir actually said, "Yo soy un actor mexicano." As that is what he is.

In my defense, there's a whole discussion about the meaning of "americano" vs "estadounidense" (United Statesian) and how (North) American can also mean Mexican; I wondered for a moment if he'd said "norteamericano," like he was making a point about inclusivity. I'm not a total idiot, I promise.
