Food Bank Party

So Ethan told me this morning that he wants to have a food drive party for his next birthday party. Attendees would bring canned food items instead of gifts at his party. I think it's a wonderful idea. Now let's see if he changes his mind before his birthday in May.

That's awesome! Even if he does change his mind, he's already thinking big. (And you can gently remind him of it later, of course!)

That's GREAT idea.

When I worked at the children's advocacy center, there was this 10 year old girl who asked for stuffed animals for Christmas every year instead of presents, and she donated them to the center. Had to be NEW, tags still on, etc., because of hospital rules and cleanliness and stuff, but that kid got TONS of good press out of it and wow, by her 3rd year of doing it donated like 400 stuffed animals.
