The Day of Tragady

Apr 03, 2006 21:43

What follows is a post I just made in Something Awful about the events of the day. I think it's best if I just copy/paste what I wrote. Keep in mind there's a part that isn't easy to read. It's noted clearly.

The Day of Tragady )

Thank you for sharing with us. It's a terrible tragedy =/ Sometimes God takes people without warning.

Death is there to remind us that we're alive, but only for awhile. Savor each instant.

It reminds me a lot of Dead Like Me... I'm glad it didn't fall on you.

I didn't want to admit it, but there was a point where I thought this was a 'Dead Like Me' episode.

Kind of sounds like one, with the scaffolding and all.
You should get a name for your face.

Flat, wow... that would be so surreal to me I'm not sure it would stick.

How are you doing today?

I just realized I work 2 blocks away from you on Boylston (#399).

Doing OK and trying to get back to work. We had a small bug in roommate pulls, so I'm back in the swing of things.

Hey, arn't we going to have lunch at some point?

He was a good friend of mine, Michael Ty. He was compassionate, deeply caring, sensitive with a great sense of humor. He was well on his way of becoming a great physician. I tell you this so that you have something to attach to that face you saw; I tell you this because it's obvious that you care.
