thanksgiving dinner was really yummy! afterwards, we played wii (rayman raving rabbids 2 and tennis) and my arms were sore for like 3 days afterward. :P

omg those tj's pastry bites were SOOO GOOOOOOOD. hehehe. you must try them sometime! only bad thing is you can't bake them in the toaster oven.

the cheddar puffs were good too! they have a light airy texture. :) i'd make them again.

Your pumpkin roll came out pretty! How did you manage to roll without breaking? I've never made a roll cake before, but I'm curious as to how difficult it is. I get very frustrated when things fall apart during assembly. =[

the trick is to take it out of the oven when finished baking, then immediately invert it onto a kitchen towel covered in powdered sugar (to prevent sticking), roll up with the towel, then let cool for about an hour. then you carefully unroll, frost, and reroll.

We brined our turkey too, but made it a tad bit too salty. Looks like you had a great meal!
