I'm kind of speechless. I didn't quite know what to expect when you said you wanted to write a happy ending to my awful, angsty story, but it wasn't this. I think I had supposed you'd write something sweet and fluffy (and this is!), but what has really floored me for some reason is the fact that Draco inadvertantly Accio'd the ring that Harry threw in the river. When I wrote the original, that part broke my heart the most--the sheer finality of it, I guess. But you, you resurrected the ring and made it possible for Draco to understand just what he had metaphorically thrown away that day, and I...well, I'm just speechless. This is far lovelier than I could have done, had I bowed to pressure and written the sequel myself. Thank you so much, not only for writing it, but for doing it such incredible justice.
