It was better than a pot of gold. The anomaly sparkled through the waterfall, tantalisingly close.

It was the first in months. It could lead anywhere. It might lead home.

Danny gazed at it, weighing up his options. Deceptively beautiful, the fast-falling water might dash him against the rocks or sweep him away. But this could be the only chance
