Connor didn’t have a poker face.

Abby always said that he had a tendency to look guilty even when he wasn’t (and then he’d be in trouble for taking the last chocolate biscuits or similar).

He’d always been rubbish at anything that required any sort of deceit. Cards were out. Even Duncan could beat him at Cheat. Connor had never bothered trying poker
