Turns out they came onto Livejournal and printed out and read all of my journal entries. Keep in mind I have had Livejournal since my Freshman year in highschool, so that is a LOT of entires, and a lot of my life that has been read ( Read more... )

I totally know what you mean. I recently made my entire journal private. Not even for friends to read, but that's for personal reasons. But I agree it's probably best that livejournals be for friends only. My mom talked to me about that about a year ago, not only that, but what you put on facebook, myspace, etc. because you never know who could be reading it or who could get ahold of it and use it against you somehow, particularly in lawsuits, or also future employers. I realized I didn't really want someone forming opinions of me based off stupid livejournal entries and things I wrote years and years ago, when I was, dare I say, a lot more immature and less stable than I am now.

Hopefully you didn't get in any major shit for them finding stuff. Oh, and I'm pretty sure I'm already on your friends list, but if you're making a specific one, add me to it. :)

Hey cam cam -- That sucks!!! I'm already your friend, but I do have a question -- is there an easy way to switch all my posts to friends only, or do I have to do it one by one?

You gotta do it one by one. I did that last fall, and it sucks, but it feels so much better now that it's done. I highly recommend it. :)

Maybe I should switch my blog to art critique like I was thinking. ;)

That's so random... But I guess I wouldn't expect any less from the likes of them.

Please add me to your friends list, if I'm not already there. :-) Oh, and sorry I didn't respond earlier to AIM... I actually wasn't home, but I forgot to put up an away message (yours was one of like 7 AIMS I had when I got home).
