We take about six months to finally do it.

Register. This is probably the best part about being engaged. This is the part when you tell people what you want them to buy for you. Dude, did you even set a date yet? It might say this on your registry website, but as I have not yet clicked on the link, I don't know. I'm very excited about registering myself, but Ted & I might be actually married by the time we get around to doing it.

Well we set a date but it depends if we can get a place for then. That's the biggest challenge.

here's how bad it could have been...we had to have my mom come with us to register. seriously. we didn't know cuisinart from keurig. love the wedding website!

Kate - you commented on my blog this morning, so I came over to check out your site. I saw an old entry of yours that made me realize that WE WENT TO THE SAME HIGH SCHOOL! Obviously, decades apart, but I went to St. Anthony's the first two years it went co-ed, back in the late 80's. My first year of high school was at Holy Family in Huntington, and then St. Anthony's boys school moved into the building and we had a boy-girl ratio of 7 to 2 for my next three years. I was involved in the Theater program with Brother Marcel, and I was varsity Badminton (who knew?), but other than that, I was too busy with ballet to do much more. Small world.

Ha! That's really awesome! St. Anthony's was so much fun. So you were in the theater program, interesting, because I was on stage crew. It's always nice to meet another alumni!
